Georges Yatridès is a contemporary French painter whose works are mostly held in private collections throughout the United States. He is known for his usage of biblical iconography and large slab monoliths, which he incorporates into a number of paintings. Yatridès also painted a series of abstract nude portraits. This one is most likely one of his earlier works and predates his most prolific period with regards to nudes.
