The Museum offers programs throughout the year, including gallery tours, lectures, classes, and workshops designed to complement the Museum’s exhibits and develop a greater appreciation of natural history. The Museum also provides tours and educational activities for local schools. (Please call ahead.)
The remaining public space from the original building has been turned into the Holland and Sallie Webb Learning Center to provide a permanent activity area for children of all ages. The Center honors the service of Sallie Webb, who has been a dedicated program volunteer for over twenty-five years, and the support of her late husband Holland. The “museum within the Museum” is furnished with family-friendly work stations for interactive learning and hands-on study.
